of The Cross LOL 1310 is a Christian lodge with each member having
a testimony
of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, of being washed in His shed
blood, the Precious Blood of the Lamb.
- Our
lodge motto is ‘For
the Witness of Jesus and for the Word of God.’
- The
Lodge sits at Moneyrea Orange Hall, Ballygowan Road, Belfast
on the
Third Tuesday of each month except in the months of December
and July.
- We
meet for a time of prayer before every lodge meeting is opened.
- In
opened Lodge we work through our business with the aim of
- Furthering
the aim of the lodge motto.
- Enjoying
fellowship with the Lord and with one another.
- Furthering
the cause and values of the Loyal Orange Institution.
- Raising
issues with regard to the defence of the Faith.
- Highlighting
issues where the Orange voice can influence matters of
State and the defence of Northern Ireland.
- Discussing
and planning future lodge events including parades and gospel
meetings.
- Banner
of the Cross sits under the jurisdiction of Saintfield District
Lodge No. 5 and our lodge endeavours
to
take an active role in our new District. We are a lodge that sat formerly
in the Ballymacarrett
District in East Belfast from 1949 to
February 2004.
- As
a Lodge we welcome new membership, therefore if you feel
