beliefs;
The members of Banner of the Cross LOL1310, wholeheartedly support
the tenets expressed in the fundamental imperatives listed buy
the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland. Click here to view these beliefs.
The lodge adds further definition to these beliefs by making the
following statement:-
We believe:-
That the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that salvation
is only found in Him and His once for all sacrifice for sin on
Calvary. We need no other sacrifice, we need no other plea, it
is enough that Jesus died, and that he died for us.
In the power of Jesus blood to cleanse us from all sin and that
His blood shall never lose its power.
In the blessed trinity, God as one person in three and three persons
in one, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
That God is a spirit, infinite, eternal and unchangeable, in His
being wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and truth.
That God is the one and only creator and that by His Word were
all things made and without him was not anything made that was
made. Evolution is a deception, and unsubstantiated as fact.
That God is omnipotent, omniscient, and everywhere present.
That the Lord Jesus Christ being the eternal God became man and
so was and continueth to be God and man in two distinct natures
and one person forever. He became flesh and dwelt amongst us. In
Him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
That Jesus is coming again and that we need to look up for our
redemption draweth nigh. The time is short and the night cometh
when no man can work.
That Our Lord Jesus Christ is the sole King and Head of the Church,
the bride-groom returning for the bride adorned for her husband.
That
the bible expressed in the scriptures of King James version alone,
is the inspired
Word of the living God, profitable for
doctrine for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto
all
good works. 2 Timothy c3 v16 & 17.
That
all other versions are perversions, dangerous and defamed iterations
of the former,
void and without the blessing of God,
working deceit for the father of lies, the Devil. Those who use
and promote them as the word of God act contrary to the command
of God. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the word
of the prophecy of this book , I f any man shall add unto these
things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in
this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the
book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the
book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which
are written in this book.” Revelation 22 v 18 & 19.
We believe further that:-
The Pope, the Bishop of Rome, is that antichrist spoken of in
scripture, the man of sin and son of perdition that exalteth himself
in the church against Christ, and all that is called God. He is
a false-christ and is no vicar of our Saviour and Lord on this
earth.
Rome
and all her tentacle dioceses’, is our
enemy.
The Roman Catholic Church, the papal system, is a mockery, a delusion
and a snare.
The Mass, the so called blessed Eucarist, is a blasphemy, an insult
to the Lord Jesus Christ. Rome, instead of preaching the Cross,
boasts that the mass repeats the Cross, and claims that at the
Mass the elements of the sacrament became truly the soul and divinity,
the bones and nerves of Jesus, and therefore the entire Christ!
We abhorr this evil and reject this filthy popish claim. We know
that accept without reservation that Christ died for our sins once
for all!
The worship of Mary is injurious to Christ, a superstition and
fabulous deceit. Mariology is a Popish travesty that teaches that
while Christ demands justice, Mary extends mercy. We reject that
Mary is mother of God in any degree beyond his humanity, God made
manifest in the flesh.
That ecumenicity in any degree is the enemy of true Protestantism,
a sister to the harlot of Rome and more dangerous than any bullet
or bomb as an attack on the protestant people of Ireland.
That any person, church or denomination that accepts Rome, its
pontiff or any element of its existence as Christian in any degree,
are in themselves apostate and not worthy of any recognition or
acceptation as protestant. I Timothy 6:3-5 “If any man teach
otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of
our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to
godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions
and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil
surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute
of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw
thyself.”
That
Rome does not change (semper eadum) and the inquisition still
functions
to destroy all ‘heresy’ and ‘heretics’ in
all walks of life and that the Ratzinger ( now antichrist head
of the papacy Benedict 16) paper ‘Dominum Iesus’ approved
by the Pope (J.P. II), renews its self engineered mission that
the mother Church is the only means of salvation and that all else
is heresy. This system is authoritarian, totalitarian and sectarian
in all its working.
That the European Union is the beast upon which the Romish whore
rides. Revelation chapter 17. Whilst as part of the UK we are in
Europe, we are not of Europe!
